Back to Basics Blogging

I have a pretty good news, but a bit of a bad news for my Pragments blog. I will start making sponsored posts for this blog. It’s a good news because it means more sponsored post opportunities, more pay. about the bad news, well it concerns the authenticity of my blog. Pragments is known for its inspiring and life boosting posts. With sponsored posts in the mix, my blog will have stains of marketing nd business elements from liposuction and anti-acne products down to the latest mobile phones and real estate packages.

I plan to go back to the roots of blogging, way back when it is simply treated as a tool to capture thoughts, ideas and experiences. Blogging nowadays has reached a greater scope through various events such as blog awards, product launches and blog parties. I have nothing against these things and I believe that these are major improvements in the blogging world. But I think at some point, politics and discrimination are slowly appearing in the picture. We can’t erase the fact that there are some bloggers who seem to develop a suitably high amount of self esteem so they tend to insult less popular bloggers. Social classes in blogging are also being formed. Hopefully I am wrong with this idea. Please slap me.

Back to basics blogging means, I will simply write. I will lay down my thoughts without worrying about who’s going to read it. I will write freely. I will write with purpose. And I will write with about topics that interest me. When blog hopping, I will pick interesting posts and read them thoroughly so that I can make sincere and quality comments.

Blogging is a very interesting activity. If you make blogging a habit, you will learn a bunch of things and tons of new and interesting ideas. Of course don’t count out the extra income.
