As we sleep during the night our body goes through a phase with the aid of regenerative processes and during this time, the restoration and creation of new skin cells occur. During the night is the perfect time for our skin to get the much needed rest and it’s the time of the day also that we are protected from the harmful UV rays of the sun. Hydration plays an important role in the process of repairing skin cells. Aside from drinking lots of water, another way of hydrating the skin is to use a night cream. It helps slow down and repairs the effects of aging on the skin.
